ROBERT LURYE of DreamWorks Animation will lecture on various topics and review student portfolios Feb. 28th & March 1st. He has worked on numerous 3D animation projects at Rhythm and Hues, Disney, and DreamWorks (see his biography below). Robert will be lecturing on various topics and reviewing student work.

Lecture Schedule:

• 2/28/05 11am-noon: Recent work & trends in the industry
• 2/28/05 3:30pm-4:30pm: Getting ready for the real world
• 3/01/05 12:30pm-1:30pm: Digital lighting

All lectures will be in the PC classroom (HRA 1.102).

Robert will also be reviewing selected student portfolios during his limited time at the University of Texas at Dallas. Professors Bruce Barnes and Midori Kitagawa will be selecting portfolio work prior to Robert's visit. Download Portfolio Guidlines

Robert Lurye lives in Los Angeles, CA. He is currently working at DreamWorks Animation on feature animated films as a lead lighting artist.
