24 Hour Video Race Screenings
University students will have their entries judged in a public screening

The Video Association of Dallas will present the screenings of the 2005 24 Hour Video Race entries at the Angelika Film Center this week. Preliminaries will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, May 17th and 18th; Finals will be held Thursday, May 19th. Screenings are open to the public; tickets are $3.00.

University of Texas at Dallas students who entered the contest will have their films screened at the following times.

Tuesday, May 17th at 6:50pm
Team: The Great Grape Apes
Team: Baboondock Saints

Tuesday, May 17th at 9:05pm
Team: Rogue Ape Collective

Wednesday, May 18th at 6:55 pm
Team: Radical Blind Monkeys

These students are part of the Arts and Technology program studying film and animation. Last year, students from the program won the student competition with their film, "Dumb Ass Larry." This film also received the Audience Choice Award. To read more about last year's victory, click here.
